NPC: Money (From Can Ray)

A former Mr. Johnson for a still unknown Megacorp, Money earned his nickname for being “Good for the Money”, as well as his suggestions to “honestly” increasing profits through dishonest means. He dealt fairly with the Shadows, a welcome change from the cheats the Corps usually send. However, Money was a demanding person as well.

He left his Corp on good terms (He claims) three years ago in order to marry a mysterious Elven woman. It was one of the strangest planned weddings in history, presided over by Man-Of-Many-Names, the Ushers did a weapon's check to make sure the guests were armed, and the party afterwards is still listed in four Lone Star files as “Unsolved”.

He disappeared from the Shadow Scene of Seattle after that, returning from Winnipeg a year ago, with blood in his eye and massive body mods done. He ran the Shadows for almost a year before settling down and working part-time as a Street Johnson, a middle-man for a variety of Corps to give them an extra layer of deniability. He still goes on the rare Shadowrun, when it interests him or he has a personal stake in the situation.

His reputation for fairness serves him well, but he does not tolerate breaks of any type in the orders he gives. No statement means full leeway, but what he says goes. Break that rule, and you don't get paid. He informs his “Temporary Employees” of this on the first run he gives them.

Description: 1.79 Metres, 89 Kilograms. Almost always wearing Mirrorshades which gold Zeiss Eule-VII cybereyes. The rest of his clothing depends on the situation, but he can blend into almost any situation he desires, or not, depending on his mood. The other obvious mods that can be seen are a gold-plated datajack that he's had for years, and small, difficult to see scars that demonstrate extensive re-constructive surgery.

His Matrix avatar is a highly damaged, high-res version of a typical Chrome Sarariman Icon, that, if looked into, appears to have a amateurishly deleted Corporate Icon of a glowing red question mark. Those who remember him from before will remember that his previous icon was a pristine, high-res version of a Sarariman with a glowing red question mark denoting his Corporate Alliances.

And that's just the bare bones. There's a whole story going on with him. Just don't want to give all the details, yaknow? ;-)

Been working on him for a year in my head. One of those characters that just won't go away.

Currently working on a story with him. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to post it some day.

    Canray 2 games ever?

At different times over the past 10-15 years I've played off and on for and with Joe Veen. I'm not sure, but I believe I played in the first game Joe ever ran.
The new guys have allot to live up to, but from the way it sounds... they'll do fine.

The first game I ever ran was a one shot of D&D, back when I was 14 or 15. Not sure who was playing at this point, but I'm pretty sure they all became good devil worshippers.

A couple years later, I found myself running some Harnmaster events (Pilots Gamble) at CenCon and from there, moved onto Shadowrun and Vampire: The Masquerade.

Honestly, Tim has always been one of my favorite players, because he's a real hard @$$ and never backs down from a fight... Well, except for that one time he jumped out of a building to escape being ripped apart by a werewolf.

That was you, wasn't it Tim?

    Wow!

Almost beats the time one of the guys in my group got annoyed when someone ran away with his favourite throwing hatchet.

'Course, it was embedded in his armoured chest at the time...

That was a good game. I miss those guys. :-(
